TO find the father and maker of this universe is a hard task; and when you have found him, it is impossible to speak of him before all people.
                           - Cp. Plato

"God is the shaping source of this universe. All living beings result from the impregnation of matter through living souls."

"What is that realism which remains the same and continues through change?"

False science creates atheists : True science prostrates : Man before divinity.
                            - Voltaire

If God made us in His image, we have certainly returned the compliment.
                            - Voltaire

"He only wants single-minded worship in whatsoever form it be and whatsoever language."

"Hearing they hear not; knowing they know not; seeing they see not; only with the eye of enlightenment do they see"
                     -The Upanisad

Writing to God is a form of worship. It allows us to create those special moments, which is only between Him and us.

1. Is there God ?

God is

Evidence : There are lots of things happening which cannot be explained by reason and perception. It is a matter of faith. Truth does not become untruth because nobody has seen it.

"I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how he could look up into the heavens and say there is no God."
                                                                                         ~Abraham Lincoln

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary lists the following as a definition of the word 'God':

      The supreme reality; esp.: the being whom men worship as the creator and ruler of the universe

      A being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require man's worship.

     A person or thing of supreme value.

     A God is a thing, person, force, or whatever that rules your life... the number one of your life.

     Your God is whatever or whoever makes you do what you do.

      Your God could be a person if he is the one to whom you listen over anyone else.

      God is Light, not darkness. God is love, not hate. God is Truth, not untruth.

      God alone is Great.

      God being indivisible still He is equally divided among all beings and is stable. This worth knowing God is the creator of all living beings, a supporting them and destroying them.

       He (Supreme God) is the one who brings out all the senses and He is without all senses,; He is un-attached and he supports the whole universe, and He is free from all attributes and yet He enjoys all of them.

2. Where does God live?

God is omnipresent, lives in everyone, within oneself and present in every situation. Tulsidas has said,

" No one can see God, unless one develops a universal outlook first and sheds all narrowness and parochialism."

       God has said that he is present in all living beings. For experiencing this devotee should believe with determination the following:
1.
2.
3.
4.
God is here
God is now
God is in me
God is mine

For believing this no prowess, practice, attributes are required. These all are self-evident and real. Therefore for believing in this everyone is capable and everybody is empowered. The only condition is that the devotees should believe in God.

3. How to attain God?

       The easiest means for attainment of God is through detachment. One should know action and in-action, also what is wrong action. Because action is always happening and one should be able to distinguish between actions
                        a. Which actions are going to bind
                        b. Which actions will get freedom

       It is very difficult to understand and decide this. The one who is able to see action in inaction and inaction in action, that one is full of wisdom, a sage and he can do all kind of work. Meaning nothing is left to do, he attains God.

       God is only one but there are many ways to attain Him. He is open to be attained by all who are modest and pure at heart.

                         a. Through Truth
                         b. Through Love
                         c. Through work
                         d. Through Toil - physical actio
n

       Gandhiji said, "

Truth is God, and the way to Him is Non-violence." The simple spiritual truths can never be described. The progress of spiritual discovery is assured to vary in the case of everyone depending upon one's needs and personality.

      That who surrenders to Lord by word only lord accepts them; Lord has kindness and affection for all human beings. Lord is aware of everything and knows the inner thoughts of everyone.

      The living Presence of God is revealed in silence, to each soul, according to his capacity and need.

      God is truth and soul his part, is also a truth, and the relation of soul and God is also truth. Therefore all the means for attainment of God like Karma yoga, Gyan yoga, and Bhakti yoga are also truth. The devotee does not need to do any thing for being of God. He is of God, but the activities leading to untruth, materialistic things, happenings, when he develop or believes in relationship with them, then the devotee is not able to see his truthful relationship with God. Therefore for removing this relationship with the untruth, the karma yogi considering body, senses, mind, intelligence as things from this world puts them into the use or service of this world. He believes, as a small particle is part of this big world; similarly this body is also part of whole of the universe. By believing in this the actions will be for this world but the Nitya yoga will be for self i.e. attainment of God will be for self.

       Surrender all activities unto God by mind and thoughts; take refuge in God and following equality. Always put your heart into God.

       In this four things are important:
           1. Surrender all actions to God by mind and thought;
           2. Surrender self to God;
           3. Following equality break your relationship with this world;
           4. Become continuously merged in God, meaning make determined relationship with me

        In reality there are four situations. The relationship with the God is always there. There is no break in the relationship. The break cannot happen and there is no possibility of a break. This continuous Nit Yoga is known as 'Love', because in 'Love' lover and affection both are the same. Here dissimilarity can never happen, for exchange of love between the God and the devotee, the game of union and separation happens.

    In Love there are four kinds of feelings:

          a. The God is my Lord and I am his servant. He has full control over me. He may do whatever he wants. May keep me in any situation and take any kind of work from me. Because of his great affection for me, he can get anything done from me without my consent.

         b. God is my friend and I am his friend. He is my lover and I am his lover. He has full right over me and I have full right over him. I agree to all he says, he also will have to agree to whatever I say.

         c. I am the mother and father of the God or his teacher and he is like our own child or student; therefore we have to bring him up. We have to look after him so that he may not incur injury on self.

        d. In this, the devotee believes in strong relationship with God, same relationship of similarity. By believing in similarity 'we have things for happiness and pleasures of God, so that he should not feel any unrest.

Let us understand the true meaning of renunciation and relinquishment separately.

       - Some learned know renunciation as ascertism and some learned know leaving the fruit of all actions as relinquishment. Learned say that one should leave the action like a limitation and some learned say that sacrifice, charity and penance should not be given up. Between Ascertism and relinquishment -first let us discuss relinquishment; relinquishment is of three kinds:

         Sacrifice, charity and penance should not be given up, but these should be performed. Because sacrifice, charity and penance, purify the wise sages. Being unattached and denouncing fruit of all actions one should do these activities and all other activities - this is God's decided and great opinion (as said in the 629th verse in BG). Denouncing daily activities is not right. Leaving them with attachment is known as "dullness".

        All the actions, will finally give pain - if one denounces all actions because of physical pain or fear, this relinquishment is known as "passionate" and it does not get the fruit of relinquishment.

       Only duty is to be done -one who performs daily duties without attachment and without desire of fruit, this is known as "goodness" relinquishment. The one who has no malice towards work of non-prosperity and not attached with the work of prosperity, that wise man without doubt is stable in his situation. Reason being it is impossible for the man with the body to leave all work. Therefore it is said the one who denounces the fruit of action only he is relinquisher.

        The one who does not denounce the fruit of action, he gets three kinds of fruit of action, even after death like pleasant, un-pleasant or a mixture of both; but the one who denounces the fruit of action there is nofruit for him whatsoever.

4. Are any rituals necessary to attain God?

      No
      Rituals are not necessary to attain God. What God wants us to do is not what we say with our lips, but wants us to believe in him in our heart.

      According to scriptures three impurities are barriers in attaining God:

      1. Sin or defect;
      2. Protection or limitation;
      3. Relationship with action;

  Senses, mind and intelligence are said to be living place of these desires and action. These desires act through senses, mind and intelligence. This covers the soul and wisdom of the man.

In this world, desire is the only binding factor; there is no other binder. The one who is able to detach from desire he becomes capable of attaining God. Due to desire what man should be doing, that he does not perform and performs what he should not be doing. In this manner desire attracts the man. We should understand from this that if something becomes a barrier in the fulfillment of the desire then anger is produced. But if there is no barrier in the desire, then greed takes birth after desire and due to greed, attraction produces. Meaning if we do not get materialistic things due to desire,angis produced. And if we get the materialistic things then greed is born and then mourn or attraction or attachment is born. One should remember if the man loses this body without attainment of God in the desire and enjoyment of worldly pleasures, he will not get the human body again.

      Pure performer, seeker of knowledge, seeker of wealth, and man of wisdom - meaning one with love for all: - these four type of people worship me. Meaning they take refuge in me. Out of these four devotees the wise who loves all is the greatest. Because he is always in union with the divine and I am extremely dear to him and he is extremely dear to me.

      The one whose mind is not fully in his control, it is difficult for him to attain. But by practice and by techniques one can learn self control and attaining is possible through proper means, I believe in this.

5. Can God be attained through prayer?

      With prayers one starts believing in God and generally asks for fruits of one's action, thinking himself to be the doer of those actions.

       It is left open to one to call God by as many names as one wants to for one's spiritual contentment. Guru Nanak ji said that the name does not matter, if He is enshrined in our hearts. It really matters very little, how, when and where one worships God. God is same for all mankind. God is everywhere and He only wants single minded devotion and worship in what ever form it may be. Everyone is free to pray to God as one likes.

"When you are in the dark, listen, and God will give you a very precious message…."
                                                                                     ~ Oswald Chambers

6. How can God fulfill my dreams?

       When we are not detached and give importance to the materialistic things we look forward to God to fulfill our dreams. When we surrender to God, We are in the care of God who knows our needs for the better than we know and fulfills the same before we ask. We are part of God and God lives in us.

7. Is it possible for God to watch the deeds of everyone on this earth?

        YES

       Supreme is the mutable and the immutable, the all and the one. He sees all but not with the physical eye, he hears all but not with the physical ear, He knows all but not with the limited mind.
                                                                           Cp. Svetasvatara Up., III, I9

      "He sees without the eye, He hears without the ear." The immensity of the Supreme is brought out by the attribution of qualities (adhyaropa) and denial (apavada).

       I am equally present in all living being among all living being none is dear to me and I do not hate anyone. But the ones who worship me with devotion they all are mine and I am in the them.

8. Did God make hell or heaven ?

                   No                                 Yes
                   If it is interpreted           If you believe in rebirth
                   as a place theory

9. Can one go to heaven?

        Not if heaven is interpreted as a place. Yes if it is interpreted as blissfulness also yes if you believe in rebirth theory.

10. Is going to heaven the ultimate goal?

No

 If heaven is interpreted as blessedness then it is the goal of man.

       The ultimate goal of all mankind is to attain "Moksha"(reuniting with God). Aim of life is realizing God through worship and good deeds. Aim of life is self-realization i.e. realization of God in man.

      Those who are indulging in desires, consider, Heaven as the greatest. Believe in the said systems in Veda's, there is nothing other then enjoyment of results for those who say like this and they are discontented ones. They say words, which lead to the results of karma to get into the cycle of re-birth and set rituals for attainment of power & enjoyment.

11. What is a religion?

                       Religion binds man to God and man to man.
                                                                                         - Mahatma Gandhi

        All the principal religions are equal in the sense that they are all true. They are supplying a felt want in the spiritual progress of humanity.
                                                                                         - Mahatma Gandhi

        Gandhi ji also says that Religions are not for separating men from one another, they are meant to bind them. It is a misfortune that today they are so distorted that they have become a potent cause of strife and mutual slaughter.

      Ganghiji's views on the fundamental unity and equality of religions, the brotherhood of man, and the true nature, and purpose of religion He says all the great religions of the world are true more or less. "More or less" because religion, as conceived by man, can never be perfect even as man, being man, can never be perfect, perfection being the exclusive attribute of the God alone. "If all faiths outlined by man are imperfect, the question of comparative merit does not arise. All faiths constitute a revelation of Truths, but all are imperfect and liable to error." "We must, not," think that our religion alone represents the whole Truth, and all the others are false.

       Religion is purely a personal matter. Gandhiji simply cannot imagine that "a man will become good or attain salvation only if he embraces a particular religion." For, purity of character and salvation depend, according to him, entirely upon the purity of one's heart.

       Some times I think one day would it be possible for the whole mankind to have only one religion, as there is one God? And if one wishes to pray, one could go into a Temple, a Church, a Mosque or a Gurudawar whichever comes first, one would go inside and communicate with God. Will it be possible some day?

12. How many religions are there?

           There are many religions, like:
             1. Hinduism
             2. Judaism
             3. Zoroastrianism
             4. Taoism
             5. Confucianism
             6. Jainism
             7. Buddhism
             8. Shintonism
             9. Christianity
            10. Islam
            11. Sikhism

13. If there is only one God, should there not be only one religion?

      Mahatma Gandhi said," This is a strange question. Just as a tree has a million leaves, similarly though God is one, there are as many religions as there are men and women though they are rooted in one God. We do not see this plain truth because we are followers of different prophets and claim as many religions as there are prophets."

       Every one is free to worship the God in his own manner. The objective        is to merge into God.

      Mahatma Gandhi said, " Religion is purely a personal matter. There are in reality as many religions as minds. Each mind has a different conception of God from that of the other.

      Belief in one God is the corner stone of all religions. But I do not foresee a time when there would be only one religion on earth in practice. In theory, since there is one God, there can be only one religion. But in practice no two persons I have known have had the same and identical conception of God. Therefore, there will, perhaps, always be different religions answering to different temperaments and climatic conditions. But I can clearly see the time coming when people belonging to different faiths will have the same regard for other faiths that they have for their own. Think that we have to find unity in diversity. We are all children of one and the same God and, therefore, absolutely equal.

       In nature, there is a fundamental unity running through all the diversity we see about us. Religions are no exception to the natural law. They are given to mankind so as to accelerate the process of realization of fundamental unity.

       I claim that all religions are equal. We ought to cultivate the same regard for other religions that we have for our own. Not to do so is to belittle one's own faith and expose it to attacks from without.

14. What is the ultimate objective of mankind?

Self-realization

      When you become aware of God for wholesomeness He is, you become aware of yourself for who you are.

     This human life one does not get for enjoying ravishing pleasure and pain but is for getting above pleasure and pain and to get to the great ananda and for getting the ultimate peace, after attaining which nothing else matters. When one denounces all desires and is content within oneself at that time one achieves self-realization.

      Radha Krishna ji has said that 'though the truth of self is free to access to all mankind, it is attained only by very few who are willing to pay the price in self-discipline, steadfastness and non-attachment. Though the truth is open to all, many do not feel any urge to see. Of those who have the urge, many suffer from doubt and vacillation. Even if they do not doubt, many are scared by difficulties. Only a few have succeeded in braving the perils and reaching the goals'.

      One may try to learn about the absolute reality by any means. But in the end one would know about self through self-only. What is the difference between seeing, doing, and knowing. Seeing and doing is mainly by senses and knowing is mainly by self-belief.

          1. The one who is thoughtful, only wants to achieve self-realization. Their objectives, aim is only to achieve Moksha.
          2. Those who are holy men, they want to get to heaven by doing the right karma. They consider heaven as great and keep this as their objective.
          3. The common man respects the world only and that is why they want fame in this world. They keep this fame as their objective.

     One who only (thinks about) views worldly things cannot think about Moksha. Till one looks for worldly materials and pleasures one cannot think of self-realization.

15. How can one attain happiness?

      Happiness can be attained through detached attachment. Remember learned do not mourn neither for those who are alive nor who are dead. There are only two things in this world truth and untruth, soul and body. Out of these two soul is un-destructible and body is disintegrating i.e. will perish. Neither of these needs not to be, mourned for, as the one, which cannot be destroyed for that you need not mourn, and the one, which is destroyable and is going to be finished. For them it is not justified to mourn. This implies that mourning is not justified either for body or for soul. If still you want to mourn then only foolishness can be the reason for the same.

      The situations of birth and death, profit and loss and so on, which come in front of man, are result and fruits of his actions. It is only foolish to mourn for such good or bad situations. Reason being what ever situation may come either in favour or against both have beginning and end meaning that situation was not there earlier and nor will it remain in the end. The situation, which will not be in the beginning and will not remain till the end and shall not be stable in between also for even a second. If it was stable then it will not get destroyed. If it gets destroyed then it is not stable. For such a thing, which gets degenerated every second whether it is favorable, or against, feeling sad or happy to mourn or to celebrate is only foolish.

      This is a rule that there is no fault, which does not evolve from affection and desire; we divide all into two categories

1. Mine - On my side
2. Against me

      Learn to equate the two. Love everyone as mine and attain happiness. When one does not get sad due to pain and sorrow, does not feel happy during good times, pleasure and the one who gets above rage, fear, passion deemed to be in a stage of superior knowledge.

Reason being if you surrender to worldly things, then you mourn, if you completely surrender to God then your sorrows, worries; all will get disintegrated and will get finished. Remember all forms are momentary.

      For completing all actions Samkaya doctrine has explained five reasons. In this the center of the activity and performer, the instruments and various kinds of attempts and providence is the fifth reason.

      The man, body, voice, and through mind whatever right or wrong activities he starts, the reason for that is these five factors only. But the one who considers the self as the doer although, all these five being present, he does not understand rightly, because his wisdom is not pure.

      The one who is free from ego of self and whose wisdom is not sullied, he even after slaying all these living beings does not kill them and neither gets bound. The knowledge, the objective of knowledge and the subject of knowledge - all these three initiates action. The reason, action and the performer - by these three the action composes.

      In the science of modes, through the secrets of modes, knowledge, action and performer are said by three kinds. Through the knowledge, which the devotee among different living beings sees equally, divided the un-divisible, the imperishable; know that knowledge as of 'Goodness'.
But the knowledge, meaning through which knowledge the man knows in different forms the entire living beings, know that knowledge as "passion".
But the knowledge which is attached completely with the single activity body and which is without the concern, which is without the actual knowledge and is insignificant narrow that is known as 'Dullness'.

      The action, which is as per the rules of scriptures and is performed without attachment and without the desire of fruit by man, without hate or malice, this is known as 'Goodness'.

But the action performed by the man with desires of pleasures, full with ego or is performed by great labour that is known as 'Passion'.

      The action, which is started with affection without seeing the result, loss, violence and capability, is known as 'Dullness'.

      The doer who is free from malice, ego, self praise, patience and full of resolution and who equates success or failure, he is of the 'Goodness nature'.

      The performer who is full of malice, desires of fruit of action, greedy, with nature of violence, impure and moved by happiness and pain, he is of "passionate" nature.

      The performer who is careless, ignorant, egoistic, obstinate, un-respectful to the one doing good, lazy, despondent, procrastinating, he is of 'Dullness' nature.

      There are three differences, between wisdom and steadiness.

      The knowledge that knows the difference between action and non-action, responsibility and non-responsibility, fear and non-fear and the binding and freedom of self that wisdom is of 'Goodness' nature.

      The man who does not understand clearly right and wrong, responsibility and non-responsibility, such knowledge is of 'Passion' nature.

      The wisdom covered by darkness, which believes as right what is wrong and sees everything up side down that knowledge is of 'Dullness' nature.

      Equipped with stability, the one who controls his mind, breath and all activities of senses, that is of 'Goodness' nature. The man, which has desire of fruit of action, through which he performs rightful activities, lust and wealth with great attachment, he is of 'Passion' nature.

The man with foolish knowledge does not leave sleep, fear, worry, pain and ego; he is of 'Dullness' nature.

      Now understand the three kinds of happiness. By practicing which man comes to rejoice and ends all pains, such happiness be born out of the knowledge about self, which in the beginning is like poison and like nectar in the end, this happiness is said to be of 'Goodness' nature.

      The happiness, which begins with the senses, their object is like nectar in the beginning and like poison in the end, this happiness is known as 'Passionate'.

      Sleep, laziness, and negligence, the happiness, which evolves through them, attracts self in the beginning and the end, such happiness is of 'Dullness' nature.

      In this world, or in heaven or among Gods and other then him there is no such thing, which is free from the three modes born or nature.

      Learned, Khastriyas, Vaishas and Sudras, the activities thus born are distinguished as per the three modes.

      In this world there are two fold way of life. First is by the mean of knowledge and second mean is of work, in both of these thrust is on action. Both the mean have theirs own attributes. In both the means knowing and believing are two ingredients, knowing and believing have no difference among them as knowing is without doubt and similarly believing is also without doubt. In the things in which we believe there is no chance of an argument.

      Man cannot attain freedom from action by not doing the work and nor by renunciation he can attain perfection.

      'Bhagawad Gita' teaches everyone the art of attaining God while performing ones duty. This proves the Lord means, - one should not get away from duty or action but firmly wants the devotee to be performing ones duty. Yes, Lord says the poisonous parts of the action like desires; affection and imbalance of power should be denounced from the action. In place of getting away from action one should learned to detach from action.

      No one in this universe even for a second can sustain without work or live without doing anything or an action, because every one acts of its own by the craving of nature. In reality if we see nature never get into a situation of non-action because it keeps on changing every second. The soul in itself is not the doer but when it starts believing that it has relationship with the body then it starts believing itself to be the doer of the action. The body keeps on changing every second from childhood to youth, digestion of the food, regularly breathing seeing hearing or all activities which happen of its own but the body or the soul starts believing self to be the doer of few actions. Nature is always changing but the truth and pure never changes. In reality the materials of the nature have no independent identity. The one who believes in these Padartha cannot be in a non-performing situation even for a second. If one experiences and believes that he has no relation with the Padartha and all activities are happening in Padartha's then such a one will get detached from the change and action. This detachment diminishes the attaching power of the Padartha

      The one, who forcefully restrains all his senses and organs from action but keeps on thinking about the pleasures of those senses in his mind, is said to be one of false conduct. Although he has detached himself from the senses from outside and thinks he does not do any action whereas in reality he is continuing to perform under those senses.

      The true meaning of control of senses, that not only one should outwardly control his activities but should also detached from the desire in the mind of such activities.

      The one who controls his senses by mind and works without attachment engaging the senses in the action for performing he is supreme of all. One must perform work according to the knowledge learnt by one because action is better than non-action. Also it is not true that your life will not be affected by not performing.

      Performing ones duty is like a prayer while performing one gets attached to action therefore by getting detached from all attachment do your work as a prayer of sacrifices.

      All the actions we perform are for others not for self. Who are these others, it is very important to understand this, other than self, body-mind-senses-organs all are others. Remember that these body senses, mind, intelligence are also others. As this world is others all the above mentioned are also others. A karma yogi considering them others does work without attachment with them. Not putting senses into the wordy pleasures is serving the senses. Not letting the mind think bad about anyone is serving the mind. Not letting the intelligence, analysis think about the responsibility of the others how they act and what they do, not letting intelligence thinks about it is also serving the intelligence.

      In the earlier days of creation the Lord of creations created the man along with sacrifices and action. The Lord of creation said to the man that by performing ones duty you will elevate everyone and you will get your kalyan. Without the desire of fruit if one perform ones duty one will get elevated and merge into God. Whereas, if one performs selfishly then he will, get into cycle of birth and death.

      By working selflessly you help the secondary God and secondary God will help you thus helping each other you shall attain he purity and progress.

      Your sacrifices will make the God give you the enjoyment and pleasures, which you desire. The one who enjoys, these pleasures, without putting them into the services of others, he is a thief.

      When we attach selfishness with any action that action becomes small and a binding or a barrier on the performer. Taking one away from salvation.

      The one who performs selflessly and attains purity such a man gets above and free from the pleasures of all senses and organs. But those who perform for themselves, these sinful people sow sin. Whereas the reality is that once one take determined decision to get to God the happening of sin stops automatically.

      All living beings come to a existence from food: Food gets birth by rain, rain happens due to activity. Activity is born from action.

      One should consider action to be originating from the Vedas (Brahma) and Vedas from Brahma, the imperishable therefore the Brahma imperishable, which generate and creates all is in the center of all action.

      The one who does not follow the wheel of nature and does not help turning it around. Such a one enjoying the pleasures generated by it senses waste his life in this world.

      The actions done for the benefits of others please the God. God is the enjoyer of all services. Giving services without any desire in return to others is a law of life.

      The one, who is self-contained, happy in self, satisfied in self for him there is no duty.

The great man who learns to control actions since he has no interest from the actions that he has performed and no desire of fruits for the actions he has not performed and he has no selfish desire from any other living being.

Performing and not performing appears to be different whereas in reality performing and non-performing are quite similar. When we have relationship with the body and we do not perform, in reality it is performing. Lord has explained every action has four stages:
1. You have right to action;
2. You have no right over the fruit of the action;
3. One should not consider self to be the beneficiary of the fruit of action. One should learn to denounce the fruit of action;
4. Your non-performance will not get you to God.

      Therefore one should perform ones activities and responsibilities without attachment, because by performing without attachment one can attain God.

Many great men like Raja Janaka and others attained God by doing their karmas with perfection. Similarly one should also work in a manner, with a view to serve the world. As man gets the wordy material by karma similarly one feels that one will get to God by karma. But in reality it is not like that, God cannot be attained due to karma.

      Let us understand this; due to karma we get the transitary things of this world and not the eternal that is God. Because all karmas are in relation to the destructible things of this world like body, senses, organs, mind etc. whereas one gets to God only when one gets detached from these destructible things of the world like body, senses, organs, mind etc.

      Every action has beginning and end; therefore the fruit of the action also has beginning and an end. One gets worldy things by action and not by believing whereas one gets to God by believing, not by action.

      Understand this like this that if one has to solve the problem of mathematics one will have to apply intelligence and not that believing in the problem will solve the problem.

      The objective of the human life is not to enjoy the fruits of his action, worldly pleasure and collection of worldly pleasures, it should be sacrifice's, and then only one gets the desire for attaining God. When the devotee has only one objective of attaining God then no other action or karma remains of importance. In reality there is no other objective other than attaining God for human being. The necessity is only to understand and recognize this action. When one works, with the objective in mind not with the desire for the fruit of action, such actions are above sin and virtue.

      All actions, works are equal, none is small or big. When one has desire of fruit of action then by the view of the fruit the action becomes small or big but once one leaves or denounces the fruit of the action then all actions becomes equal.

      Whatever way a great man behaves or does, others follow him. Whatever he tells, others follows him. A great man is one who understands the difference between worldly and self and he naturally feels the body, senses, mind intelligence, money, and family, all these materials are of this world and not of the self. Not only this, the great man does not consider sacrifices, love, wisdom, positive attitude as his own because considering these as his own his personality become dominant, which becomes a barrier or hindrances in his self realization.

      All these we get from the world, the body, senses, mind intelligence, money, family, land so all these materials should be put to the right use that is at the service of others. God considers the one who considers all these as his own and puts them for self use such a person a thief. When we have the feeling of giving it brings unity and love to the society whereas the feeling of taking brings friction and rivalry in the society.

      As we have one body but different organs, and when we have pain in any of the organs, one believes it to be its own pain. Similarly in this world all the living beings are different but still they are one only. As when the ill organ of the body gets well and the whole body gets benefits from it. Similarly when one works within the rules of the society and according to the time and situation and performs ones duty, when such a man when acts it benefits the society as a whole. It has been seen that in the society, which respects these great man, as they behave the society and people starts believing in the similar manner. Every one looks upon the great men. Like the driver of a vehicle the great man has special responsibility, the other people in the vehicle can sleep but the driver has to be awake always. If his attention gets diverted, it can results into an accident. Similarly in this world the people who are considered great in their respected fields need to give special attention to their behaviour and conduct. It is important for a great man to follow what he preaches.

      God has explained, "I have no duty in the three world and nor is there anything which is desirable for me. Still I am always performing activities." If the God does not perform with care then there could be a great loss because all mankind follows whatever God does. If God does not perform or if He stops performing then all mankind will get destroyed and God shall be responsible for destroying all and bring it into non-existing.

      The soul by considering the relationship with the body becomes the onlooker, agreeing or disagreeing with the body he becomes the permitter, believing self to be the supporter of the body, experiencing the pains and pleasures along with the body he becomes the experiencer, and by considering the self as the owner as the supreme Lord, but because of nature this soul is called the supreme God. He while living within the body is separate and without relationship with the body.

      "God, by his incessant activity, preserves the world and prevents it from falling back into non-existence."
Cp St. Thomas: "As the production of a thing into existence depends on the will of God, so likewise it depends on His will that things should be preserved; hence if He took away His action from them, all things would be reduced to nothing". Summa Theol. I, IX, 2c

      The learned works for the betterment of the society as the ignorant works with attachment to work to maintain the balance of this universe. Till one learns to work without attachment without desire for the fruit of the action, till such time one cannot get away from the birth and death cycle.

Till one performs for self his activity does not end, reason being self is going to be present always but the fruit of the action is going to get destroyed. Karma Yoga can be made easy if one starts practicing and believing that it is beneficial to work for the betterment of the others and not for self.

      The great man should not create a doubt in the mind of the ignorant, which are attached to their action. The learned man should perform all his action with detachment and should get similar work and should get similar performance by the ignorant. Lord has given two directives to the learned:
       1. The learned should perform all activity according to the rules of the Shastras.
      2. They should get ignorant to perform in the similar manner as they themselves perform.

      All the activities are performed naturally by the nature, but the one who is controlled by the ego thinks that I am the doer of these activities.

      Body is a part of this world; therefore body has similar kind of unity with this world. Man does not consider the world as self but by mistake considers this body as self whereas body has no existence without this world. But when one considers body as self then many desires crop up in him like want of women, son, money, respect, and followers. He is not able to look into the relationship with the body and he gets away from self-realization with the increasing burdens of these desires.

      I am the body: I am the doer, the belief in this untruth become so strong that one feels it is very difficult to leave this belief. I am not the body and I am not the doer when such truth becomes stronger and ones starts believing in them with determination then it does not get difficult to believe in this.

      Attributes and actions or materials and activities are continuous changing. Materials get created and destroyed. All activities have a start and an end. Knowing this is attainment. The one who has no relationship with material and activity gets attainment. One who believes in this and does not create any relationship with them and gets away from them gets salvation.

      Man has the ability to bind relation or not to bind relation, but he has no capability for activity. The one who has capacity to change has capacity to perform. Man does not have nature to change whereas nature is continuously changing. Therefore performance is naturally in nature. That is why when man believes in his relationship with nature. then he starts believing self as the doer. The doer part of the activity is for the fruit of the action. Once fruit of the action is not the objective then activity does not remain and the performer does not become the doer of the activity.

      Those who are attracted to the modes of nature such ignorant persons keep themselves busy in the modes of nature and attach themselves to the works produced by the nature. These ignorant, un-intelligent men should not be confused or unsettled by the intelligent who know all. What should be done to get out of this relation of the action and the fruit of action in which one gets attached?

      One with his conscious mind and intelligence dedicate the fruit of action, activities and responsibilities to God, becoming free from desire, affection and egoism. Do your duty with responsibility.

      One should perform all work with an attitude of "Thy Will Be Done". One should work as we are serving the Lord. When the devotee has only one objective, that of attaining God, then whatever material, goods, commodity one has, they all become tool. Then the material does not remains good or bad. Therefore one should dedicate all these material as they are to the God. The things and materials as God has given the same should be given back to Him. After dedicating all action to the God, if we still have desire, affection and ego, they all should also be dedicated to God. By dedicating them to God they will also become pure.

      God has talked about offering all actions. Because man has by mistake considered and believed the doer- body, senses, mind, wisdom, breath, instruments and the activities as his own, which were never his, never will be and can never be his.

      What could be the relation of the indestructible with the destructible? Whether one offers the actions to world, or nature or God - all the three will have the same result; because this world is a work of nature and God is the lord of this nature. By this view world and nature both are part of God. Therefore " I am of God and the things which are said to be mine all such things are of God". In this manner everything should be offered to God meaning affection and attachment with them should be removed. After doing so the devotee never needs or wants anything from world or God, because whatever he needs, God arranges that by Self. After offering the body and other materials should not appear as of Self, if it happens so then the offering is not complete.

      The offering to God has the quality that even if the devotee offers with dullness still he gets an advantage. Reason being the action and the things are not of self. The actions can be devoted even after performing them. But the real offering happens only after the relationship with the actions and materials is removed. The relationship with the actions and materials is removed only when one understands this firmly that the doer - body, Instruments - materials, action and 'self'- are all of God only.

      The devotee generally commits this mistake that he tries to believe that the materials are of God but does not take care to believe that the body and self are also of God. Therefore his offering remains incomplete. Therefore the devotee should understand firmly that body, Instruments - materials, action and 'self' are only of God, which in reality are His.

      Knowing and believing that the things given by God are of God is the real offering. The one who believe, that the things of self offers them to God, in return gets manifold but gets limited return. Whereas the devotee believing the things of God offers them to god, God gives Himself to such a devotee and also becomes indebted to him. Meaning if one believes the things as of self he gets in value things in return but if one believes the things are of God offers them to God he gets the God Himself.

      When the devotee has only one objective of attainment of God, then whatever resources of materials he has they become the instruments of worship. Then those instruments cannot be divided into the two categories of good or bad. Therefore whatever materials as they are as it is should be offered to God. As God has given similar should be offered to him. After offering all actions to God whatever desire, affection and splendour one feels in self the same should also be offered to God.

      "Those men who without any doubt and the devotion always follow the teaching of God, they also get out of the bondage of the action." This is the opinion of God.

      But those men who doubt the teachings of God and do not follow it, consider such a man to be blind to all wisdom and lost into senselessness.

      The man who has patience equates pain and pleasure alike and is settled in self, the one who equates clod, a stone and a piece of gold, who is settled among dear and non-dear and in praise and blame, who is settled in respect and disrespect and is stable and same with friend and foe, who is denouncer of beginning of all actions, such a man is said to have risen above the modes.

      Whether one believe in God or not, God does not insist on it, but one should follow the guidance and teachings of God. If one would not do so, then he is bound to get away from elevation, if the devotee believes in God and follows his guidance then God gives it of its own. On the other hand, if not believing in God, one follows its instruction and guidance still God gives the devotee elevation.

      The learned, their body keeps on performing of its own: because they do not have ego over the activity. The devotee who wants attainment of God his activities are according to the rules of nature. As a greedy man is always careful about profit and loss, similarly a devotee is constantly careful that he may not act in a manner of ego or malice. When such care is taken then the nature of devotee becomes pure at the earliest and as a result he gets out of the responsibility or the fruit of the action.

      The knowledge, the objective of knowledge and the subject of knowledge - all these three initiates action. The action composes by these three the reason, activity and the performer.

      Lust, anger and greed - these three are like doors to hell and are destroyer of the self, therefore, these three should be left.

      Ostentation, being ignorant, being proud, being angry, being inflexible and being ignorance- all these are characteristics of one who is born with demoniac nature.

      For not getting into the relation with this world the devotee should perform the activity by keeping some ideal. There can be two ideals:
1. Godly teachings
2. Behavior of Great man;

The one who performs by keeping an ideal? Such a man's nature gets pure and he attains God. In contrast to this the one who does not perform by keeping any ideal, such a man works with ego and malice and is not elevated or uplifted. We cannot stop the happening of action. But we definitely can change their course of action. When we work selflessly only for the benefits of others, this is changing the course of the action and the devotee gets out of the responsibility of action.

      Senses and in relation to the senses, men's ego and malice and according to his egoism, One should not come under either the senses or in relation to the senses, because both of these are his prime enemies.

      The other person may not like things about the nature, which we like. For example rain is very dear to the farmer, but the potter does not like the rain. Similarly we like cool waves in summer but run away from them in winters. Similarly all objects we like or dislike according to our needs and interests.

      One should work through ones own law rather than follows others laws. It is better to die following one's own law rather than following others law meaning one should feel happy doing ones own work, even if one is not performing with excellence, then performing another one's responsibility and doing it well. It is important for man to follow his own responsibility as per his birth. Since every one has been assigned specific job by the nature.

      Duty is, one which we can perform easily, should be such that it must be done and after doing which one will get to God.

      The man not wanting to sin, forcefully gets towards sin against his will, when we consider the worldly untruth as pleasures this gives birth to passion and anger. This action brings sin and gets one away from elevation. In this relation one must consider it as an enemy.

      As the smoke covers the fire and dust covers the mirror, and the womb covers the embryo, similarly the knowledge is covered by such an action or passion.

      According to Shastras three impurities are barrier in attaining God:
1. Sin or defect
2. Protection or limitation
3. Relationship with action;

Similar to this fire never-ending desire and such actions are the enemies of the wise that eclipses the intelligence of the man.

      Desire is not going to be satisfied. The more we enjoy the desire the more it grows and the enjoyment acts as a fuel to the fire of enjoyment bringing us away from the almighty. Desire is never going to be fulfilled because its nature is unlimited. One can only be free from desire, when the desire is completely met. Desire is the root cause of all sins and pains.

We should understand from this that if something becomes a barrier in the fulfillment of the desire then anger is produced, but if there is no barrier in the desire, then greed takes birth after desire and due to greed, attraction is produced. Meaning if due to desire we do not get materialistic things, anger is produced and if we get the materialistic things then greed is born and mourning or attraction or attachment is born. One should remember if the man losses this body without attainment of God in the desire and enjoyment of worldly pleasures, he will not get the human body again.

      Therefore, one should first of all control one's senses and then kill forcefully this destroyer of wisdom (Spiritual knowledge) and logical knowledge.

Senses are considered to be great, above the body and mind is greater then senses, but still intelligence is greater then mind, but action is greater then intelligence.

Thus knowing self from the wisdom take charge of self and kill this enemy in the form of desire.

      The renunciation of the action and unselfish performance, both means lead to salvation. But out of the two, selfless performance is better than renunciation.

      The one who is never jealous, and neither talks ill about anyone, such a devotee is worthy of understanding, because free of dualities such man gets easily released from the binding of this world.

      The unintelligent talk of renunciation and karma yoga as two different means. The wise do not think like this because the one who applies either of them with purity he gets as a fruit from both means attainment of God.
The supreme reality, which is obtained by the follower of renunciation, is also achieved by karma yoga. Therefore the one who sees both the means as one he sees the truth?

      It is difficult to renounce without action. The sage who performs with the wisdom of action attains to God at the earliest.

      Whose all senses, are in his control, whose mind is in control, whose body is in his control and whose soul is the soul of all living beings? Action does, not taint such a devotee.

      The one who knows the truth and is united with the divine while seeing, hearing, feeling, smiling, eating, walking, observation, speaking, impeaching, sleeping, breathing and while opening and closing eyes uses all senses understanding that the senses are occupied with their own objects, should believe that I am doing nothing at all.

      Capability, ability and cause of action or senses, they are all part of nature and we feel them as our own in relation to nature. All of these keep on increasing or decreasing, whereas the self remains same always. Therefore they have no relationship with self.

      The devotee who performs all actions by dedicating them all to God and gives up attachment, such a devotee is not touched by sin, just as a lotus leaf is not touched by water even though it remains in water.

      The devotee who denounces the fruit of action attains the peace and Ananda. But the one who does not know the supreme truth such a man due to desire, gets bounded by the fruit of action.

      A happy person has the tranquility and safe haven within himself to which he can retreat at any time. Only a few people have this capability where as all mankind should attain it.

16. How many desires man possess?

   Man has four kinds of desires:
        1. Desire of Wealth;
        2. Desire of Religion;
        3. Desire of Lust;
        4. Desire of Freedom (Moksha);

    In the common language, these are known as money, religion, lust and Freedom (Moksha).

   a. Wealth : Wealth is of two kinds, which can be divided thus
         i. Property
            Land
            Rrupees
            Gold
            Silver
        ii. The wealth of animals, religion.

    b. Religion: The good works or the sacrifice, charity visit to religious         places, which are done without want is religion.

    c. Lust: The Lust in this world is of eight kinds:

     i. Word: By listening to what we feel happy and have pleasure.
          ii. Touch: The pleasure, which we get by union or touch of skin.
          iii. Beauty: Seeing by eye, which we get pleasure and feel happy
          iv. Taste: Taste are of six kinds:
               a. Sweet;
               b. Sour;
               c. Salty;
               d. Bitter;
               e. Sharp;
               f.  Pungent;
               v. Smell: The pleasure, which we get through smelling different                    things.
               vi. Respect:
               vii. Fame:
               viii. Rest:
     d. Freedom (Moksha): Attaining God

17. What is the field and knower of field.

This " Body, known by beauty is called 'Field', and who knows this field, he is called knower of the field by the learned. The rule is that from where one is bound by untangling the tie up from there, one gets away from the binding. One is bound by this humanly body, and one can get free from this binding through this human body only. If the human being has no relationship of ego, affection, then he gets free from this world. There by God considering this relationship with the body of ego and affection, for breaking this relationship God has called this body as field. And is asking to see the field as different, which in reality is other.

You know God as the knower of fields among all fields, and the knowledge of the field and its knower that according to God is the true wisdom.

What the field is, how is it, of what nature it is born from what, also the knower of the fields is of what powers. This knowledge of field and knower has been told in detail by sages and in many ways by the various kinds of Vedas and also is well explained by logic and reason and conclusion in the Brahma Sutra.

The basic nature, self-sense, self-ego, the great five element and ten senses, one mind, and the five objectives of the five senses, this field is made of Twenty-four elements.

"The ego is an artificial construction obtained by abstraction from conscious experience"

Desire, malice, pleasure, pain, microorganism, the power of reasoning and steadfastness: - Along with these limitations this field is explained briefly.

The one without the feeling of greatness, integrity, non-violence, forgiveness, service of teacher, purity of mind and body, stability and control over mind.

In relation to senses, one should be indifferent, ego should not be present, birth, death, old age and in happenings, seeing, the limitation of pain. One should not get affected.

Getting un-attached; Son, Women, Home, etc. should not be considered as closely related and mind should be constant to all favorable and un-favorable happenings. Always continuously involved in the knowledge of self, as meaning of truth finding God in all places- this is the wisdom; and whatever is opposite to it, i.e. known as non-wisdom - it is said.

Whatever is born, Animate and inanimate is through the relationship between the field and the knower of the field. As the only sun illuminates the whole world, similarly the knower, of the field illuminates the field. In this manner, the one who through the eye of wisdom knows differently the field and the knower of the field and action and reason of action and know self to be different, he attains Gods nature.

18. If there is rebirth why does rebirth happen?

As man changes its clothes and wears new clothes similarly this soul also leaves the old body and goes into new body. What is the reason for this re-birth in the new body?

When we look due to karma yoga
      -The re-birth happens to enjoy the fruits of karma, and for this re-birth happens.

When we look through Gyan yoga
      - Due to Aggyan (ignorance) the re-birth happens.

When we look through Bhakti yoga
      - The re-birth happens due to distance from God.

In the above three yoga's, the main reasons for the birth is that the 'God', has given freedom to soul and due to misuse of this freedom the soul is entangled into re-birth cycle.

How to get out of this re-birth cycle?

By using this freedom in the right manner, one can get out of the cycle of re-birth. Meaning by acting selfishly we get into re-birth. So by denouncing selfishness and by working for the betterment of others we can get out of this re-birth cycle. By getting away from God we get into this re-birth cycle. By getting in front of God we can get out of this re-birth cycle.

"Believe in God"
"Communicate with God"
